As Britney Spears gets ready to close an estimated $15 million contract with "The X Factor," the pop star's husband-to-be, Jason Trawick, will now have a legal say in how Brit makes and manages her fortune. Spear's former manager-turned-fianc? has been named the diva's co-conservator -- a job he will share with Brit's father, Jamie Spears.

According to a TMZ source, Papa Spears' lawyers said their client is "thrilled" to share the burden of Brit's business affairs with his future son-in-law. After Jamie submitted the application for Trawick's co-conservatorship last month (March), the request was approved by a California judge on Wednesday (April 25).

"Obviously, her future husband needs to have a say in her well being," Los Angeles probate attorney Jeffrey S. Cohen previously told E! News. "This is a very unusual situation, because generally you don't see conservatees get married. This could be a sign that the couple's wedding is around the corner," the lawyer speculated.

Still, E! reports that Trawick will not have as much power as the 30-year-old entertainer's dad does. Following a review hearing in July, Jason's job will be limited to the singer's personal, day-to-day finance decisions, while Jamie and his attorney Andrew Wallett will continue to control her estate.
